  • Not engaged at work (63%) - May be productive but have no psychological bond to their employer; may be tempted to defect by other employers.
  • Actively disengaged at work (20%) - Physically present but psychologically absent from work; keen to share their negative beliefs about their employer.

Which would you like your employees to be? - You will never get 100% of your people 'engaged at work' but what would be acceptable to you; a ratio of 2:1 or 3:1? Marcus Buckingham recommends 4:1.
